Visitor Information

Over the past two decades, Anderson Valley—set along California’s Mendocino Coast—has emerged as one of the world’s most distinctive wine regions. Surrounded by rolling hills, redwood forests, and vineyards, Goldeneye offers a guest experience deeply connected to this remarkable landscape, inviting visitors to explore not only the wines, but also the beauty of the estate and its surroundings. Join us for a seated Essentials Tasting, thoughtfully curated to highlight several of our current release wines.

anderson valley quick guide

transportation

We recommend arranging car service or rental transportation in advance, as options are limited throughout this coastal region.

Accommodations

Accommodations throughout Anderson Valley range from boutique hotels to intimate inns and bed‑and‑breakfasts. Availability can be limited, particularly during the fall harvest season, when the valley is at its most active. For visits between August and October, we recommend reserving accommodation well in advance.

Restaurants

Dining in Anderson Valley reflects the region’s relaxed elegance, with a variety of cuisines and settings shaped by local character and seasonal ingredients. Many restaurants embrace a farm‑to‑table approach rooted in Mendocino County’s agricultural richness. With the Mendocino Coast just a short drive away, a broader range of exceptional dining experiences is close at hand.

Activities

While wine tasting lies at the heart of any visit, Anderson Valley offers much more to explore. From outdoor pursuits woven into the surrounding landscape to scenic drives along the nearby Mendocino Coast, the region invites a slower, more immersive way to experience place.
